Spanish IV is designed to provided advanced students with the guidance they need to continue discovering, learning, and using the language in meaningful, creative, and engaging contexts. Students will read stories, plays, and poetry from Spain and Latin America. The selections offer a wide variety in theme, style, length, and degree of difficulty. The class will focus on reading comprehension, written expression, and oral communication to prepare the student for placement tests designed to give students college credit for what they have learned. There is a $20 materials fee which is payable by check to the instructor at orientation. Students will not need to purchase a text or workbook.
Colleges require a minimum of 2 years of the same language for admissions to college.
