The best way to prepare for this specialized test is to practice, practice, practice. And the best way to make sure that happens is to schedule a time. Students in this course complete several practice tests covering the new types of math and language problems that will be covered in the redesigned SAT. Students also write 2-3 essays using literary analysis techniques. This course will cover test taking strategies, techniques, and practices for all four sections of the SAT: reading, writing and language, math, and the essay. Students should have completed math through Geometry and Algebra II in order to be ready for the SAT Prep class.
